A paleontological and earthen wonder, Badlands National Park is 240,000 acres of spires, buttes, and canyons. Buffalo, Big Horn Sheep, Prairie Dogs, and Coyotes abound, as do Deer and Antelope so bring your binoculars and camera. The Ben Reifel Visitor center features fully articulated fossil remains of ancient mammals and turtles found in "The World's Richest Mammalian Fossil Beds."
