Singinghorse.com is the genuine 100% Indian owned and operated supplier of arts and crafts supplies on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. We have an extensive network of wholesalers in several countries, and also sell in retail over eBay.
Our mission is to use technology to assist with economic development of the tribe through Indian-made arts and crafts. Our goal is to find a fair value for the products while at the same time not being in competition with our suppliers (local artists and craftspeople).
ABOUT THE OWNER
Howard Olson is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. He has contributed greatly to Indian-made arts and crafts by working with artists and craftspeople to improve the process they use to develop their work.
Howard started Singinghorse.com as a spin-off of the Singing Horse Trading Post. Howard is the original founder of Singing Horse Trading Post and has developed all the suppliers, packaging, and marketing for the trading post. In order to provide local retailers with Indian-made products and develop the necessary wholesale channels Howard has been working from his “War Pony” (van) for the last four years.
