Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Social Services is to provide financial and social services to

eligible clients.

• Assist people to maintain basic necessities of life.
• Protect those persons who cannot protect themselves from physical or mental harm.
• Assist people who cannot become or remain totally independent to attain the highest level of independence possible.
• Assist people in preventing a loss of economic of social independence
• And, assist people to become socially independent.
